5. Who Has Access

Access to data is strictly governed by role-based permissions and technical access controls:

Property Hosts: Hosts are granted access via a mobile application to view the feed and playback of the specific camera(s) they host. To protect public privacy, this app access is strictly restricted and only accessible when the host is connected to the camera's local network. Property hosts do not have remote access.

Authorised Personnel: Access to recorded footage or multi-camera management is strictly restricted to verified volunteers, paid staff, and authorised temporary personnel. These operators must log in securely via a desktop web interface for every individual camera session. No mobile app access is permitted for multi-camera management.

Footage is never shared or sold. We may share data with law enforcement if legally required or to protect life. All data access is strictly logged and auditable.

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

Request access to your personal data (DSAR)

Request correction of incorrect written personal data (note: this does not apply to altering raw CCTV footage).
